Shhh don't tell! Wish I could have shown it to you earlier....

This has been a fun gift for my grown children and their wives the past few years.  I buy these on sale from Pottery Barn Kids to be used the following Christmas.

I have done a few different things with these.  Last year it was for three little grandchildren.  I filled each day with a different scripture describing the love Jesus has for them.  This year I gave my newly married son and his wife one filled with ideas on making a happy home, stronger marriage and life for children.

The first day of December I gave them a nativity which I had purchased when my kids were little.  I gave them a set of raku ornaments I had collected over the years.  Jelly Belly candy showed them they have lots of others in their life who love them and want them to be happy in their efforts.

Lots of working together here!  Two of everything.  The candy bar symbolized that while making and having money was important it certainly cant buy the most valuable things in life.  The snowmen reminded them to take time to play. I added some Peeps to remind them that it is not always "rosy and wonderful"  But worth it!!!

These two days were super special.  I gave them my dad's wedding ring along with some words about how he valued marriage.  The little charm was from a charm bracelet my dad gave my mom.  (It was perfect since they are having a baby! )  He added charms from all over the world.  While he was in the military and their early marriage he regularly brought her home a charm.  All their parts move too! I hope you have lots of memories to make with your families!  Merry Christmas!!
